“Beautiful, serene trail. Definitely a hidden gem in the Hudson valley. Love it most in the fall with all the foliage, but it’s pretty every season.”

“We have enjoyed the beauty of Poets’ Walk Park since we were children. With glorious vivid memories of happily running back and forth on the trails while Mom and Dad hand in hand would remind us to be mindful of others enjoying the park as well! This has remained a favorite spot to bring family and friends when we want a scenic and leisure walk! We look forward to many more years enjoying one of the Hudson Valley’s picturesque and tranquil spots.”

“Majestic Poets’ Walk Park. I remember thinking to myself this place is like a real life fairytale. Absolutely beautiful with every turn you make between the mountain views and the landscape. There’s no way to count how many times I’ve recommended it. My boys and I love exploring the Hudson Valley but this place brings us a special kind of joy. It’s where we saw our first snake & where they held their very own mini concert right under that beautiful gazebo, just for me.”

“We love to get out of the city as much as possible and Poets’ Walk Park is one of our favorites! Our boys, Meeko (tan) and Roman (not pictured) love exploring and seeing all the wildlife there. It’s such a peaceful walk to enjoy by yourself or with some friends. We are so thankful that this place exists.”

“Longtime weekenders (generational family home in Rhinbeck since 1967), we temporarily relocated our immediate family from NYC to Rhinbeck for the first 7 months of the pandemic (Mar-Sep 2020). This was one of our very first outings to get some fresh air and enjoyment after “sheltering in place” for weeks. We were so grateful for the beauty, warmth and scenic nature Poets’ Walk provided. Everyone was so polite and respectful of each other’s space, while also finding enjoyment in being around each other.”

“My name is Sal and my girlfriends name is Jill. Our dogs name is Zoey.

We have trying to make the most of our summer after being restricted by COVID. We’ve been traveling, hiking and going on walks to get out and explore. Yesterday day was an overcast day but we decided to get out and try to do something. We decided on Poets’ Walk Park, we hadn’t been there in a few years and thought to give it a try. Even with the dark weather it was a very scenic walk and it did not disappoint. We will be going back in the future.”

“We had an amazing day at poets walk. I grew up in Rhinebeck so I have many memories coming here when I was younger, which makes it really special to be able to now share it with my new pup Bruce. It’s always the first place I take friends who visit. No matter the season, Poets’ Walk Park should always be on your list!”

“We had our engagement shoot there this past Memorial Day weekend. It was pouring rain the entire day, but we were extremely lucky to have no rain during our shoot! The grasses were lush, wildflowers were blooming everywhere. It was an amazing time with beautiful scenery :) “

“Our time at Poets’ Walk Park has always been incredibly relaxing and a beautiful opportunity for us to tap into our artistry. As we explored our collaboration during the height of 2020’s difficulties, the landscape always served us well as an escape from the uncertainty. It aided us in refocusing on all the positives that were still present in our lives, and allowed us to create content we could be proud of.”

“A friend had recommended I go to the Park and sketch there. I remember loving the walk through the Park and discovering the elegant Pavilion.”

“I live in Irvington , NY and love to travel the world. Since I wasn’t able to travel during Covid, I decided to travel in my own backyard. I started to do some research and little did I realize the incredible areas I would soon discover. Poets’ Walk Park  has become one of my very favorites spots to travel to for a day trip to hike and take in the beautiful scenery. Coming from Washington Irving’s hometown, it has special meaning to me to know he found inspiration from the same Hudson River and Catskill Mountain views that touch my heart as well.”
